About ISFARO

The Indian Society for Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of Otorhinolaryngologists.

Formed in 2019 and brought together a group of fully registered Otorhinolaryngologists who perform Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the Face.

Our society is the only Otorhinolaryngologists group in India focusing mainly on facial trauma surgery apart from Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Our membership is also open to other associate specialists including Head and Neck surgeons, Ophthalmologists, Dermatologists, Plastic surgeons, Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons.

The ISFARO provides ongoing education and training of those professionals carrying out Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery to benefit the public. It is also committed to ensure the spread of awareness & accessibility of the right information about cosmetic surgery to the public.

A founding principle of the Association remains the education of the public about cosmetic surgery and especially the benefits and risks of procedures. We want to continue to be the resource that people most trust when they need to obtain information about Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

It is our priority to develop and encourage the practice of excellent standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct among our Members, so that they continue to be regarded as the best in their field. We regularly facilitate the interchange of knowledge between qualified surgeons and trainees, which in turn stimulates ongoing training among both groups.

ISFARO is working hard to improve the training in Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, with young surgeons in training being mentored by ISFARO Mentors to gain experience and confidence. We also provide a ISFARO Mentor who is there to offer advice and assistance to newly qualified surgeons as they start out in independent practice.

ISFARO wants to raise the standards of Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery on a global scale and believes the best way to achieve this is to work in partnership with many of the other associations and societies representing Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Our aim is to continue the close links with the all International Societies.
